Wasp Nest Removal
There are quite a few different types of wasps nest whether they are the paper-like hive structures or the mud domes, but you need to remove them before the wasps become too much of a problem.
You have two choices of the time of day to remove the nest. During the day most of the wasps will be away from the nest, so removing the nest at the time decreases the chance that you might be stung. It also increases the chance that the wasps will come back and build another nest. If you do so at night, most of the wasps should be near the nest allowing you to get rid of them lowering the chance that they can rebuild.
Wear whatever protective gear you feel is necessary to protect yourself. Some people don’t mind wasps but others may be allergic.
One of the most common methods is to use a ranged spray to kill the wasp and knock down the nest. This helps you keep your distance and still get rid of the wasps. It also will kill the wasps.
If you don’t want to use chemicals, you can remove the wasp nest manually. Do this during the day since less wasps will be there. It’s best to use something like a painter’s pole or anything that you can be more than a few feet away to avoid being stung.
