Homemade Mouse Traps
There are two very simple traps that you can make to catch mice with homemade mouse traps.
Homemade Mouse Trap – Version 1
Get a bucket, some peanut butter, some seeds or crackers, and a board to make a ramp.
Put the peanut butter into the bucket to attract the mice. Put the board on the bucket with the seeds so that the mice will walk up the ramp.
The mice will then fall into the bucket. This will keep them stuck until you do something with them. If you want to kill the mice, you would fill this bucket with some water which would drown the mice.
Homemade Mouse Trap – Version 2
Use a small table, stool, or something that is about one foot off the ground. Make sure it’s something the mice can crawl up on.
Use a toilet paper or paper towel roll and set it at the end of the this small table or stool with some peanut butter at the end. Make sure that it hangs off the edge.
When the mouse crawls into this, the roll will fall into a bucket you catch them in below. It’s a good trap but will only catch one at a time.
