Get Rid Of Bats
If it’s just one bat in the house, open the doors and windows and hope the bat decides to leave on their own. Using a broom or something soft can urge the bat to leave.
If it’s more than one bat, you have more of an issue than just getting the bat outsie again. If you notice a bat infestation, normally it’s a pretty easy problem to fix.
One fix that takes care of most of the problem is finding where the bats sleep. When they leave to go feed at night, plug the up the hole they are getting into your attic through. Leave this plugged up for a few days and most should on. Then unplug it to get rid of the few who may have stayed inside. Bats for the most part just stay in places with the easiest access to shelter. Making it more difficult on them will urge them to move.
A repellent that works well against bats is cat and dog repellents. Just spray this an areas that bats roost.
If you frequently are dealing with bat problems in the attic, then adding fiberglass insulation should take care of the problem. The reason is that fiberglass also irritates bats skin. They won’t want to live in an area with fiberglass. The plus is that your home will heat and cool more efficiently.
